Bringing water safety to Melbourne residents from a refugee background
Who we are
Good To Swim is a not-for-profit swim school opening in the Melbourne CBD area, providing free swim lessons to Melbourne residents from a refugee background. We also increase pathways for the community to access paid work in the industry through our Upskilling initiative, reducing the cost of unaffordable teaching qualifications. Finally, we run a second-hand equipment drive, to ensure that everyone in Melbourne has access to essential gear for enjoying the water.

Through our partnership with AUSTSWIM and donations to our Education Fund, we sponsor community members to get teaching qualifications, as well as complete their observation hours with us.
