Volunteer Roles
Swim Teacher
Our Swim Teachers are qualified instructors who donate their time to our students. All our teachers also have a valid Victorian WWCC.
Swim Assistants
Our Swim Assistants assist our teachers in the water, and are essential to the quality of our lessons. All our volunteers have a valid Victorian WWCC.
Poolside Assistants
Our Poolside Assistants are pivotal to giving parents a chance to access swim education. These buddies care for our little students while the adults hop in the water. All our volunteers have valid Victorian WWCC.
Are you interested in volunteering with us?
Our doors are always open for new volunteers! You do not have to be a qualified swim teacher. All we ask is that you have a valid Victorian WWCC (if you don't have one, feel free to apply anyways and we can train you while you get a free WWCC). Our volunteers commit to as little as once a month, once a fortnight or up to weekly. If you're interested in joining us, apply on the google form below and we'll be in touch.
Acknowledgement of country
We acknowledge we live, swim and campaign on First Nations' country and sovereignty has never been ceded. Always was, always will be Aboriginal Land.
